Privacy policy

This policy covers the app Loge Pro for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, the Mac application Loge Pro Server and this website logepro.axeptdesign.com.
The short version: Loge has no user account and no server of ours. Your films, the catalogue and your settings stay on your disk and your devices. We collect no usage statistics, do no tracking and show no ads.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

No data protection officer has been appointed, as we are not legally required to do so.
2. What stays on your devices
The following data is stored only on your film disk, your Mac and your devices. It is not transferred to us:
- The catalogue of your films and series with posters, descriptions and matches, stored in the
.logefolder on the disk - How far you have watched each title
- Settings such as appearance, accent colour and the order of rows
- Credentials for SMB, WebDAV and Jellyfin servers and your own access to The Movie Database, in the keychain of each device
- Your keys for OpenSubtitles and SubDL, in a file on the Mac readable only by your user
Legal basis: As this data does not leave your devices and is not accessible to us, we do not process any personal data in this respect.
3. What leaves your devices
None of it goes to us. Some features query third parties directly, using your own access:

What is transferred is the title of a film, not your name and no identifier of your device. These providers' own privacy policies apply to their processing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; you trigger these requests yourself by using the feature and entering your access.
4. Purchasing Loge Pro
After a fourteen-day trial, Loge Pro is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see payment details or your Apple Account address. The app only asks Apple's StoreKit whether a purchase exists for your Apple Account; no connection to us is made.
The app remembers the start of the trial in the device's settings. It does not leave the device.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy. From Apple we only receive aggregated, anonymous sales reports in App Store Connect.
5. No analytics, no tracking, no ads
Loge includes no third-party analytics, advertising or crash reporting libraries, does not read the advertising identifier and builds no profiles. If you agreed in your system settings to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports; these contain none of your content.
6. Deletion
- Delete the catalogue by moving the
.logefolder on your disk to the Trash. - Removing Loge from a device deletes the settings and credentials stored there.
- Remove the Mac app through Loge Pro Server; its files are in
~/Library/Application Support/LogePro.
7. This website
This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies, embeds no web fonts, maps, videos or analytics from third parties and loads no content from other servers. There is therefore no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
When you open the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data (IP address, time, requested file, status code, amount of data, referrer and browser identifier). This data is needed to deliver and secure the site and is not combined with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (service “Cloudflare Pages”). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
8. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your message and email address to answer your request, and delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed and no retention duties apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). In practice we hold no data about you unless you have written to us. For a request, write to logepro@axeptdesign.de.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example in your place of residence or with the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the apps or the law change. The version published here applies; the date above shows when it was last updated.
